
Mark Monaco has worked in immigration law for twenty-two years, first as a consular officer for the U.S. Department of State and then as an immigration attorney in private practice. He has obtained political asylum, resident status, and provided consultations and other services for over two thousand clients. As a consular officer, Mark Monaco served in France, the Philippines, and Nigeria, where his work was rewarded with a Meritorious Honor Award. Mark Monaco provides pro bono legal assistance thru the Borromeo Legal Project at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Arlington, VA of which he is a founding member, former Chairman, and a current Director. Mark Monaco is admitted to the bar in New York State, but currently practices federal immigration law in Arlington, VA. He speaks fluent Spanish. As an immigration attorney, Mark Monaco has been serving clients in Maryland, Virginia, and Washington DC areas.
